Dermal fillers, such as Restylane, are a line of cosmetic injectables made of a naturally occurring gel substance called hyaluronic acid which can be used to add volume, create contours, smooth facial wrinkles, and address other imperfections.

At Crimson Sky Aesthetics we are excited to use some of Galderma company’s newest dermal filler products which utilizes a proprietary XpresHan Technology. Restylane Kysse uniquely developed for lips and Restylane Contour for cheeks are two from this product line.

Depending on the area treated the procedures take from 30 to 90 minutes.  Discomfort is kept at a minimum with initial use of highly effective topical numbing product then discomfort decreases over time due to lidocaine within the filler product itself.

Lips –Smooth, plump lips add allure to your face. They enhance your smile and make you look younger. Dermal filler injections offer an easy, non-surgical way to make your lips fuller and more enticing. Restylane Kysse is a remarkable new addition to the FDA-approved set of injectable filler options—one with many advantages.

What Is Restylane Kysse?

Designed specifically for the lips, it adds volume and smooths your lips and can be applied with customized precision to shape your lips in ways that bring out your special beauty. With its unique formulation, it makes these visual changes while retaining your lips’ natural flexibility and softness.

Restylane Kysse can add volume to the lips for those who want a plumper pout or restore natural fullness to the lips of patients who have begun to experience thinning lips. Additionally, Kysse can smooth lip lines, the vertical lines in the lips that can become more pronounced with age. It can add definition to lips and make them a more striking feature of your face to complement the attractiveness of your eyes.

Cheeks- Who doesn’t want apple-like cheeks? Desirable and natural results can be gained with the combination of newer methods of filler placement using highly specialized TSK cannulas which gently glides product through targeted cheek areas along with unique properties of Restylane Contour creating a smoother yet enhanced appearance.

What is Restylane Contour?

The first hyaluronic acid filler designed specifically to augment cheeks and can restore lost facial volume, as well as enhance your cheek profile if you’ve never had as shapely cheeks as you would like. It is the first and only filler in the United States for the cheek area that is formulated with XpresHAn Technology.™ This technology allows the filler to produce a more dynamic, natural expression in motion that moves as you move. It has been shown to have effective results lasting 12 months and beyond.

What is a Cannula?

TSK Cannulas are specifically designed for cosmetic dermal filler placement with unique properties to decrease patient discomfort with less bruising, allow smoother filler placement and less risk for tissue injury.

Mid Face (Temples and Cheeks)

Common signs of the aging face include sagging skin and wrinkles. But aging also results in noticeable volume loss of tissue around the eyes and upper cheeks with downward migration of skin and facial tissue thus creating an increase in marionette lines, prominent jowels and a sunken eye appearance. Newer facial injection techniques emphasize volume replacement up higher in the midface region with the goal to pull up sagging jowel lines, minimize sunken tear troughs thus resulting in a ‘lift’ and smoothing effect without adding extra volume in areas where volume replacement will eventually had more weight and heaviness such as the lower cheek and jawline.

Cost for filler can range from $400 to $2,000 depending on the specific aesthetic goals and complexity of procedure.
